Well Pat wish you were nearer me or vice versa so I could help you but

don't worry. You go to the fabric counter and tell them and they will be

more than happy to help you. I had man come by yesterday buying fabric to

cover the jars like you are making.. The other day a young gal came in and

bought fabric and a wooden sleigh and wanted to line the inside of the

sleigh - knowing nothing at all.. The most fun of all I had with this young

gal came in with her mom and dad - they came in Wed wanting very expensive

fabric to cover the back and seat of a dining room set, Took enough for one

chair. Well yesterday they came back and showed me a picture of the chair.

That just made my day. The chair turned out lovely and they bought more

fabric. Oh yes the family is German, the young gal no doubt married to a

soldier and her parents must be hear for Christmas. The parents understood

some English but for most part spoke only German. It was fun to help them, I

can understand a bit of German just hate to speak as I sound atrocious..

LOL You should check at s to see if the have Knit or Crochet

classes. OR look for instruction books that are done up for children. The

directions are done up very precise and simple and usually have big or good

size illustrations that show you what to do. Is how I taught myself to do

both. Take care and Hugs Jolene

> I wish I could learn to knit or sew - I have to buy some fabric

to make the decorative tops on the Mason Jars - the ones where you

will print the recipe and fill the jar with the ingredients. I am

helping the kids do these for their teachers. I don't even know how

to order the fabric - I will look pretty silly when I go out to

's today and show them with my arms how much fabric I will

need. lol I could learn a lot from you.
