Guest guest
Joyce, You are getting good advice. By doing what you can, you will gradually improve. I had 12 weeks of Cardio rehab meeting 3 times a week. When I started my O2 stats dropped and I had very little stamina. At the end of 12 weeks I was able to walk for 20 minutes on the treadmill treadmill at a speed to 2.5 and incline of 2.0 while keeping my O2 at 90+% with O2 at 2 LPM. Downside is I've just started pulmonary rehab and they are insisiting that start at zero incline and 1.0 speed for 6 minutes. Claim that they must prove to Medicare that I'm improving and if they started me at the higher rates, it's unlikely that I'd improve very much??? i intend to keep pushing them to change their minds.
