Guest guest
Thank you, Peggy. Chattanooga is certainly attractive, but I can't promise yet. I'm in the process of preparing to retire, sell my home and my housing projects and relocating to North Carolina. If it seems possible to squeeze another trip in there, I will come. I'll keep track of your posts on the event. Are you going to try to make our gathering in Chattanooga in Oct ? It should be just beautiful there. We aren't quite sure what we'll do yet but we mainly take over the lobby and little restaurant. It's kinda like a huge family re-union. LOVE IT. It is so much fun to SEE and talk to our members of this Air Family. The funny thing to me is how we know each other upon site. It does indeed feel like a family re-union with out Aunt Ethel.. lol I hope you can join us. Love and Prayers, Peggy IPF 2004, Florida Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up. Due to a major melt down of my computer - again - I've been off line for a week or so and still don't have standard email. As of today I can access the internet and found I have 363 mesages from you guys. I'll never have time to read them, so if there was something of critical importance - like you missed me - will you let me know? I'm feeling fine, but our cold, wet summer in on the side of coughing and hawking out the spitum. I have my PFT's this week and see my pulmodude. Next month I go to N. C. to see Lou's best oy, Dr. on. In the interim I'm I trying to decide whether to leave Maine entirely or spend my summers here and my winters in N. C. Guest guest
You know, Sher, I really missed getting the posts. I felt a bit lonely and wished for a virtual hand to hold. It's this group that gives comfort when so many others get a bit tired of my coughing and hawking up spitum. They are nice about it but really want to turn their head. I don't blame them. It ain't a nice sound. Jack79/IPF - UIP/dx06/05 Maine To: Breathe-Support Sent: Tuesday, June 23, 2009 1:40:25 PMSubject: Re: Hello my friends Jack... this is of critical importance! I missed you and glad you are online again. I'll be watching for your medical updates. I loved Maine when I lived there for a short while. I was in Biddeford Pool and Saco. Guest guest
Thank you, Beth. Yes, North Carolina is a siren, those mythical half fish-half women who sat on rocks and lured sailors ashore. I never learned just what they did with the sailors. I only know what the sailors wanted to do with them. Maybe I'll find out when I get there. I know it' has been very chilly and rainy in the northeast recently. My old hometown in NY has had over 9.5 inches or rain so far this month. UGH!! That kind of relentless chill and damp would be hard to take. It's 87 and sunny here today with about 43% humiditiy. Even outside it's actually pretty comfortable. I've been working some in the garden and moving the sprinkler around the yard. North Carolina is waiting for you my friend!
