I think I made the comments as in my last two pregs I wore leggings and voluminous t -shirts cos I started out big and just got bigger!! This preg I had worked hard to loose the weight and get back to a 12/14 (from an 18/20) and I just don't want to hide it -despite the bump, if I wear trad mat clothes I will just feel fat and depressed:-) I admire celebs like Davina who don;t stay stick thin with a football up the jumper, but still don;t hide...IYSWIM.... of course being a celeb and doing BB at 30+ weeks or whatever it was she went to the extreme sometimes. My " current wear all the time " are **fantastic** maternity jeans from Hennes, they have flat elastic and a proper zip fly, made form decent stretchy denim the go over the bump, and are the BEST maternity item I have ever come across.... AFAICS Hennes are the only HS retailer who do mat clothes with any style, apart from Formes -who are just too expensive! Angi def not stick thin! --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Angi I just bought 2 pairs of trousers from Verbaudet (maternity range) that I am really happy with. Esp this bright red paid that has 2 side elastic panels (instead of that horrible belt across the tummy) they are really nice looking AND have a zip <g> ;o) not to expensive either around £20-25.. But I have got to say that I majority wear draw string trousers from Monsoons when pg. they look nice and I feel comfortable in them and after baby is born I have gone on to wearing them happily as it is my style of clothing So I have not felt that I have wasted money on clothes with very little lifespan.. Lonnie Phoebe & Eloisa's mama & expecting a Christmas delivery... My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what you start. So far today, I have finished 2 bags of chips and a Chocolate cake. I feel better already.
