Ok, your concentrator is Connie. I know the two Helios's are a baby and

a toddler. But do they have names? And surely you must have a name for

the reservoir? I love it....

names everything. The GPS person in my phone who directs me is

Phoebe. She's extremely smart, very helpful, but she does get upset when

you don't do as she says. Bells go off and quite sharply she may say

" make a u-turn at Church St " of she may say " New Route " and I always get

the feeling she's a bit upset with me when she has to say that.

I think just by the names and the way you refer to your equipment it

becomes obvious you think of it as your friends. I'm going to have to

name mine now. But I do hold it in the same regard you do. It's there

for me. It enables me to enjoy life with my disease.

You always sneak in such important points to like the one that when your

needs changed you spoke to the manager at the supplier's office. Thats

the person we all need. The manager I spoke to at my supplier is now the

district manager so I now have the boss of the boss who knows me and who

even confirmed in writing that they could do what we discussed. (I put

what I understood in writing and she acknowledged it). They are not use

to PF and they need to be educated. Furthermore, you give them a face,

voice, or just a person to think of. It's now humanized and personal.

Not just another customer number. Instead of this customer is asking for

that it becomes, " oh yes....Joyce...she has PF and her needs are

increasing...yes, go on and give her that. "
