Guest guest
Met with thoracic surgeon today. i am scheduled for the biopsy on Friday August 21. Depending on how everything goes I may or may not re-schedule for Chattanooga. Was looking forward to meeting a few of you and having my sister join me from North Carolina. I postponed meeting everyone because of the complications that may/may not arise from the biopsy. I just wanted to be able to get it out of the way. I was led to believe by National Jewish that the biopsy can pave the way to a transplant, if needed. It also makes mapping a " program " easier for the physicians and clinicians. I guess I am forever the optimist and figure that it may open a path to something more positive. I am hoping at the very least that it will give them a better idea of what I have and what I might expect in the next 5 years. Take a day at a time and live life to the fullest. I will keep you posted.
