Guest guest
I don't think anyone on this list is as ancient as me; born May 1948, 3 days after the State of Israel was born. I was married in July 1967, aged 19. Still married to the old codger too! Ruthie > > > Age well........... Guest guest
Come on then Ruthie - let's have a picture of that day in July 1967! Actually, I moved in with my DH when I was 19 (16 1/2 years ago) and married at 23. It's nice to know they are *beginning* to understand how hard it is bringing up teenagers...their eldest, Lea, is 14.5, their second is the Barmitzvah boy, 13. I don't get to do many deep and meaningfuls with Sara and Benzy, as they live a bit further away than Tammy, so I don't walk over there on Sabbath. Tammy, OTOH, is given to pontificating and opinionated lectures about subjects she knows nothing about, like bringing up teenagers (her eldest is 10) which sometimes makes me very miserable when I visit. Apparently S & B have been similarly subjected to the lectures, which made me feel MUCH better. Tammy's sweet but does tend to the opinionated side.
