Guest guest
Thanks for all your support everyone. He went to school on time and promptly ended up sleeping in the office until lunch time. I figured let him sleep. At least he isn't making a ruckus if he is asleep. Of course he is not sleeping again tonight though. It will probably be another four or more hours after meds before he goes to sleep. I spoke with the pdoc's assistant today. She's wonderful but this is beyond her ability to handle and the pdoc is on vacation with her family traveling around the state. She does have her pc with her though and checks in every other day or so, and will get Annie's flagged email when she does check in. I know she will call after she decides on some options for us so I am now living with my cell phone on my hip 24/7 so I don't miss her. should be nominated for a Daddy award with how he is helping to manage all this. still responds to his authority, mostly I suspect because he has a good manner with him, and secondly because he is a huge man. I really don't know what is next, only that we can't keep on the way we are. Somehow there has to be a way to make it work. For now we have worked out where he is supervised essentially 24/7 unless he is alone in his room or in the bathroom. No one can come over, and of course he cannot leave the property. This will remain in effect until further notice, for however long that takes.

Guest guest
When is the dr due back? , people say that they don't know how I do it, if I were in your shoes I would be going nuts. I hope you get some answers soon and get him the help that he needs and some workable solution for your family. I wish that I had suggestions for you. Guest guest
(((((()))))) I don't think you need to thank us for the support.....that's what we're here for. As I said in my other post, I wish I had something helpful to say, but I don't. Just please know that I think you're awesome and that you're doing the right thing. If it's what is best for you and and your entire family, then it's the right thing and please try not to let those " negative " thoughts creep in. We're all here for you. Love, prayers and heart hugs, Debbie (GA), Mom to Evan (4.5 y/o with ToF, RBBB, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asthma); (now a whole year old and HH and NT?); and my 3 angel babies whom I will finally see when God says it's time! 9:1-3 ============================================================ Date: 2003/05/06 Tue AM 12:57:22 EDT To: parenting_autism Subject: Waiting Game ============================================================
