Guest guest
Well darn it. She continues to have these odd neurological symptoms that wax and wane but dont' quite leave alltogher. Last night at three in the morning I remembered that 's father has Lambert- Eaton Syndrome which is one of the auto immmune neuromuscular diseases. There is an inherited component and it is classed under the muscular dystrophies. Great. Okay. Ped says we have to go see an neuro now, so I am now in search of a pediatric neuro to check her out. All Gail knows is that her ped wants her to be checked over by a neurologist. We have not discussed the potential genetic link in her presence. I don't want her worrying over that and obsessing herself back into panic attacks, at least not until it becomes something we actually do have to worry about. Guest guest
Call the local research university to find someone. That is what I had to do. They should have a referal line. Most major hospitals have one as well, and they will even check to see if the dr takes your insurance before they give you the name and number. Good luck. Guest guest
Grrrrrr............if it's not one thing it's 50 freaking things. I really do understand this one. Evan had another seizure (or what I am sure are seizures) in his sleep last night and it seemed to be the worst one yet. It's driving me crazy and scaring me to death. Saying lots of prayers for Gail (and Mom). Please continue to keep us posted as you can. Love, prayers and heart hugs, Debbie (GA), Mom to Evan (4.5 y/o with ToF, RBBB, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asthma); (now a whole year old and HH and NT?); and my 3 angel babies whom I will finally see when God says it's time! 9:1-3 ============================================================ Date: 2003/05/06 Tue AM 01:03:20 EDT To: parenting_autism Subject: Gail update ============================================================

Guest guest
I didn't see anything on fainting under this disorder though. Hopefully this isn't what she's got going on. Keep us posted. Sue
