Im wondering if it is the same program. Its called something like the one you mentioned...family support. Im wondering why the difference in amounts. I could really use that money right now! nancy
Guest guest
: Ebony has been getting family support money for three years now. It is a great help. She is also on the waiting list for COP (?) and has been for a couple of years. It is my understanding that once she gets into that program, she will recieve a larger dollar amount of help as it covers more things. We didn't have a waiting list for family support though. We have used this money for lots of things, including my trip to PA for a conference where I met Jacquie, , BJ and Grace. Also, this is the second set of fencing we have used. We just found out that our landlord wants us to remove the chain link fencing we put in here, so we are going to use that to put around the front of the house. It won't work to keep her in as she can climb it, but it will slow her down if she gets out the front door. This year we used some money to purchase the equipment needed for Ebony's sound therapy. It sure does come in handy. I hope you guys see some of this really soon. I get help with respite, phone bill, cellphone, internet, and like computer games, printer ribbon, stuff like that from the COP program. I wonder why this is so different for both of us, being in the same state! I'd rather be on the other list...lol Good luck with all your fencing!! And thanks for the info! nancy
