Guest guest
A lot has been going on with my family lately sorry I have been so scarce. I wanted to give you all a quick update. Noah my 6 y/o with autism was diagnosed with early onset bipolar disorder almost 2 months ago. He is now medicated and is doing well, but was having violent outbursts at school and home, as well as crying spurts lasting 30-40 minutes sometimes. Rapidly cycling thru those outbursts sometime 6-9 x's a day. Lucas my 8 y/o ( ADHD , Aspergers)saw his doctor about a month ago for a med check and told the doctor that he had been really sad and sometime he thinks he should just kill himself. When the doctor questioned him about this he said he wouldn't do it because he wouldn't wanna make his mom cry, and not to tell me that he told this to the doctor. The doctor started him on an antidepressant, however the first week he was on it he jumped in front of his school bus while it was moving, he claims on accident so I have been on eggshells. He is seeing a counselor 2x's a week and I have been trying to spend more 1 on 1 time with him. Finally, I am having a hysterectomy on May 12. I have been dealing with severe endometriosis for several years and I am finally giving in and letting them just take it all but 1 ovary. I guess its better than in and out of the hospital getting clean out Laproscopies every 2 years. So I will be admitted Monday May 12 and will return home by either thursday evening or friday morning. Well that is everything . I have been skimming through posts when I can , very hard to keep up with so many posts.... Sending you all warm thoughts, Amy mom to Noah and Lucas

Guest guest
(((((AMY))))) You have obviously had your hands quite full! Sorry to hear about the added worries with the boys. How frightening for you to have to worry about Lucas hurting himself :-( I hope the Dr. gets his meds right quickly so you don't have to stay so on edge about it. Wishing you well with your surgery. Big hugs. Sue
