Guest guest
I didn't have the chance to get online all day, so I skipped thru the non RE messages and some others. Today, we called Zach's family support person about the fencing. She put me in contact with a county program, (SRS had said no such programs were available HMPH). I was sitting there waiting while she was on the phone and I overheard her trying to find 50 bucks to help a family pay their gas bill. Husband's hours were cut, they had paid 150 of the bill, but the gas company said they'd shut them off for the remaining 50. Made my fencing problem sound so very insignificant. So I've filled out the paperwork, she said that some programs that are income based I probably wouldn't be able to get, but some are need based, so I might be able to get that. Zach was playing on the playground, and he stuck his head out of the slide and yelled MOM! My heart just leaped! That's the first time he's ever really said mom with no prompting. He very rarely says mom anyway. The therapist heard it. Many of them have expressed their amazement of Zach's progress since beginning the GF diet. He's so much more sociable in public now (no freaking out except at the store), and was good when my sister babysat him too! I've bitched at everyone about Congress. So happy for Sara and her family on the arrival of their new healthy baby. Congrats to you all. I had so much more to say to everyone, but I've forgotten!
