'spose I'd better confess to being in these categories too

Born 58, engaged 77, married 78, DS1 87 (after 7 years trying!)

I can still remember going to talk to our minister when we had decided we

wanted to get married a year earlier than we had intended when we got

engaged, it seemed daft to spend our final year at university with DH living

at home and me in Digs a mile away. But we wanted someone who was a bit

older and wiser but without family baggage to offer us a bit of 'wisdom'.

He reckoned that if we got married and managed to survive our university

finals the following summer then we would probably survive anything :-)

In our wedding photos the pair of us look about 14 and sooo 70's! We spent

a week in a guest house in Pitlochry for our honeymoon and the bed was so

squeeky every time one of us so much as rolled over we exploded in to

giggles far louder than the squeeking, it was quite an old fashioned sort of

place which only made it seem worse!

That was 23yrs ago this autumn :-)

Now I really feel as old as my DK's think I am!
