DS2 was 4 months old and exclusively BF when he caught chicken pox (I had had chicken pox as a child). He had no hair - and he had spots all over his scalp. He looked awful, but didn't appear particularly distressed from it. Debbie Slater Perth, WA
Guest guest
Ruth, thank you for your reply, and everyone else who responded. We did go to the party in the end as the child with chicken pox's mum decided that as he was still covered with spots on Friday it wouldn't be very sociable to go, didn't stop her taking him to the local park though. You seem very knowledgable about CP though Ruth - I had assumed that as I had it as a child, my unborn baby wouldn't be at risk, but is that wrong?! Unfortunately I missed that article in the Express - what was it about? Thanks again for taking the time to reply. Kate
