Guest guest
Had an NCT girls night at the cinema last night. 4 of us went (pretty poor turn out, but those that went enjoyed it). The first 3 to arrive at the pub next to the cinema ummed and ahhed between Enigma and Moulin Rouge. The 4th arrived and had seen Moulin Rouge so that sealed it. Only problem was it was billed to start at 9.35pm, actually started at 10pm after all the trailers etc and finished at midnight. Home by 12.20 and in bed 12.45am. Boy do I feel tired now. Thoroughly enjoyed the film - a love story really, which wasn't what I was expecting, based around Bletchley Park and the code breaking of WW2. If someone had told me that, I'd have written it off as " not my thing " , but it was very good. Felt a bit foolish that I hadn't recognised leading lady Kate Winslet (shows how much I knew about the film) and had no idea that Mick (rubber lips) Jagger was into film directing. Just a shame it was so late, but 7pm start was a really no-no. Todman Treasurer, Stansted Branch (R5) Mum to , 3¾
