I imagine it's this little phrase:

>and now I always seem to

>be tired because it's pretty tiring having a baby at 41!

Can you tell I have spent the day trawling through the archives?!

If we've got the right end of the stick, then congratulations Caro.

Caro just told us that she was born in 1956, so she's not 41! I think she

is collecting pregnancy tips in her capacity as newsletter editor.

Well, boo hoo, I'm afraid you've all overinterpreted various casual

dropped statements and whaaaaa! I'm not pregnant, but can try if you

like over the next few days?! I was 41 when had DS 4 years

ago.....perhaps we could all get together a support-Caro-with-fulltime

help-fund in case a miracle were to happen!! Every time I get woken

up once in the night I feel so wrecked the next day (45 + last

vestiges (I hope) of ME) that it puts me off!

On the other hand being on these lists don't half make you

broody....if only you all lived in the village I'm sure I'd feel

supported enough to go for it!!

love and thanks for the congrats anyway!!

It's curious, that I feel disappointed not to be pregnant with a

pregnancy that has never happened, how do you explain *that*??!!!

PS DH agrees to try but says 'maybe not tonight' as he snoozes on the

sofa watching an Afghan ; I forgot to tell him last night until 1/2

past midnight that DS hadn't in the end gone to stay with my mum last

night, and his look of incredulous horror (plus sweet (?) dreadful (?)

habitual grin) was quite a picture...he thought he was going to get a

lie in! But he never winds down fast after playing a concert anyway

so I bet he wouldn't have gone to bed anyway!

6th wedding anniversary today (got a CD of Purcell I've been wanting,

can't remember, what is the 6th anniversary supposed to be? Iron,

wood and candy? He could have given me a candy encrusted hammer.

Angi's next week...

PPS - Caroline P I'm amazed at your memory - do you take notes?!!!

and that's even with placenta brain... ;-) oh, and are you going to

get DD to take a pic of you in all your bumpy glory like Jenni's?? I

always meant to do a week by week when pg with Toby and am a bit sad I

didn't. I think the children love to see that sort of thing..

It's my 6th Wedding Anniversary today too! Where did you get married? We did

the deed at Aldershot Registry Offce. Not very romantic :o( Was 7 months

pregnant with Lawrence at the time..... I got nothing - and didn't even

remember till lunchtime!

Oooh me too, it was our 6th on 14th Oct too. We got married in Castle

Acre, Norfolk in the church 3 doors down from where we lived. It was

a glorious sunny day. Perfect.

BTW 6th is Iron, but we didn't take any notice of that. I'm just glad

to have him around at the moment, he's working away a lot.

You're all such babies and I feel so OLD!!! Most of my KIDS have been

married longer than you! (Sara 15 yrs, Tammy 11 yrs, Avigayil 9

yrs)...

I've been married 34 yrs this past July, and yes I will find my

wedding pics...in fact I have one downstairs of me and my darling late

father together. I'll scan that one soon shall I? :)

Then you'll all be able to gawp and crow at the deterioration of a

pretty SLIM young thing in 34 yrs! :-))

Snap! Only we went to the gorgeous(!) Aldershot Registry Office in May

1989. I don't think they really could have found anywhere more grotty,

although the people there were very nice. Then of course we went back to

register each of the boys there.
