Any bright ideas >can't find a ready made and brain is shrinking with fear. >Caroline >Jersey I have to make one for next Thurs - I'm doing (under strict instructions from soon to be 8 year old) a broomstick - bake 2 tins ( baked bean type ones) full of cake mixture, lay end to end, twiggy end will cut from a circle cake. Harry is to ride on said broomstick - have been practising modelling him out of playdough but will make him from that readymade " regal " type of icing then paint on his features. hope this works in practise - currently only theory in this house. Guest guest
What I have ended up with doing is making a chocolate sponge cake which I'll probably cover with chocolate butter cream and green writing - as per Harrys' wish. Using Regal icing I've made a sorting hat, broom stick, a couple of magic books, some bludgers and beaters, a cloak and a wand also found some chocolate frogs, bertie botts everyflavour beans and a sorting hat with jellies in it - not forgetting some galleons and a snitch. Oh and some 100/1000s for magic May not be professional but should fit the bill Caroline Jersey > > I have to make one for next Thurs - I'm doing (under strict instructions > from soon to be 8 year old) a broomstick - bake 2 tins ( baked bean type > ones) full of cake mixture, lay end to end, twiggy end will cut from a > circle cake.
