Then use the blotting paper and iron trick, and then use Vanish or Stain Devils to get the stain out if it's still there. HTH Ruth

Guest guest
Thanks - Its on the inside of the pocket - You have got all this to come. thought it was a good idea at the time as she couldn't find a bin in the playground (surrounded by them .lazy tyke). Childs hot body and soft wax is not a good mix. Caroline Jersey > > > > traditionally you get wax out by ironing between sheets of brown paper. Iron with a nappy liner on each side to catch (and a towel underneath to stop it getting out to the rest of the shirt). Then neat Milton to get the colour out - dab it on with a cloth so you only get the stain, leave until you see it fade or 30 mins max. Rinse out and hang in sun to dry. Can repeat Milton once or twice depending on the thickness of the cloth (any more and it starts to ruin it). If any other cloth - freeze and pick off, then use a stain devil, dilute bleach or oxygen bleach, dependent on fabric. I've also found that soaking in laundry bleach (hot water) for a couple of hours also has a good effect - found this by accident after doing a (coloured) shirt of DD1 with a couple of horrific nappies... (DD1 has a baby bel habit when out with daddy, and he *always* forgets to stop her putting the b***** things in her pockets....). HTH -- Helen Armfield helen@... Guest guest
I found a red wax crayon in the tumble dryer recently....:-( (after the clothes were dry of course) I have a pale pink cotton cardi (t-shirt material) with dark pinkish lines on the back.... I did the ironing on paper thing to get rid of the wax, but Vanish hasn't shifted the stain.... what now?! _________________ Angi 0:-) > germainsjy@... writes > >Any idea on how to get the red wax out of a white shirt pocket.?
