October volunteer day

I just sent Diane Emery an email saying I would like to

come to the Volunteer Day on 27th October. The last 2 times

I have said I would come, it has been cancelled for lack of

volunteers, so anyone and everyone in and around London had

better decide you're coming too, OK? (that's *mock*

threatening, so don't get offended). I hope to see you

there!

It's at the NCT head office on Saturday the 27th from

mid-morning-ish to mid-afternoon-ish. We help out with

stuffing renewal letters and anything else we can lay our

hands on into envelopes. We talk about NCT and kids. We

have a nice sandwich lunch. I've only been to one before,

but I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

There should be the official information about it on

announce and the main NCT list soon (if it's not already

there - I haven't read all the digests yet).
