I had a good time last night with my friends 4 year old combing Barbies hair and dressing Barbie! I think I have missed having a girl but only because I would enjoy playing with her Barbies! She was very realistic and I played with her all the time until I was about 11 when I suddenly thought I was too old for dolls, and put them all in my Dads incinerator in the back garden (((((( I also really really wanted a cabbage patch doll when they came out, but I was apparently too old at 10 (( I've made up for it though as I started collecting the original dolls a couple of years ago and now have about 20! I always keep an eye on ebay too, looking for a 70's 'baby alive' to replace my much loved incinerated one. They seemto get into it much younger now,and then 'grow out of it' within 3 years. Does anyone know if action man follows a similar trend,or will he last longer? Kate.
