Place your orders now...(email me off list with address) Caro (They are largely unclothed as the originals have had the makeover treatment and been cut down for the Madelines who are still being played with)

Guest guest
Madeline is the little girl from the French books called " Madeline " (and variations) she lives with 11 other little girls in a school, and they go for walks in crocodile.... " in rain or shine , in two straight lines, the smallest one was Madeline " In the first book M gets rushed to hospital for an appendix op. and all the other little girls are then jealous of her scar. G eorgi got a M doll for Christmas last year as they all have tiny scars on them, and she was asking about hers by then 6 months after her op (she had appendicitis last year at 2.5 for those of you who didn't know, was I=undiagnosed cos of her age and she was pretty ill -but got on City Hospital with Nick Knowles!!) Anyway that Madeline...ery cute, now comes with a range of friends, clothes, accessories etc! _________________ Angi 0:-) Georgi 3yrs & 50 weeks, Susy 2, Tim 34 #3 due 4th week Jan 02 ~Kids get colds, men get flu, women get on with it~ > > Scuse please but what's a Madeline??????????? > > J

G was very chuffed, she is fairly conscious of her (large, almost as large as my c/s) scar, though not unhappily so, it may become more of an issue when she gets to big school next year and has to change for PE...hopefully not, she just explains that that is where the Dr took the bad bits out of her tummy. She has a friend in her year who had a bowel & stomach reversal (they were totally twisted and lying the wrong way) at 4 days and has an even larger scar, so they can help each other if they do have any hassle!! There is a little boy in Year 1 at school who had major heart surgery as a baby. There were complications and he ended up with a tracheostomy for about 18 months. The medics tried to remove it at regular intervals (unsuccessfully) and he has ended up with a lot of very obvious scar tissue on his neck. DS2 was telling me only the other day that he had asked Joe what was wrong with his neck, and Joe had said that it was where his big brother had stabbed him with a fork. DS2 was *very* impressed!
