Guest guest
I imagine 10-12 years down the road > where I have a group of sullen teenagers, skulking about the house, worrying > about where they are, etc. etc. - I bet I'll be wishing they were just 2, 3 > or 4 I think this is a great idea, although I do wonder whether we don't set ourselves up for problems by groaning in advance with both the 'terrible twos' and 'terrible teenagers' despite they being acknowledgedly challenging times for both parties ... my German neighbour said they rather treasured the two-year olds there, all the sweet things they are beginning to say, being more independent, and skills they are learning ...they can still be very very cudddly and need lots of reassurance and hugs. I thought at teh time it was an interesting way of looking at it. Nevertheless did find DS's 3rd year quite a strain but had just moved house... > ie. I'd rather have that than some of the teenage problems!!! Caro Sweetness and light (not)
