Guest guest
Thanks Kate - I just happened to have a bottle of it; (too many small cats in house) and I've done them on the lining side...but I think I'll have to dry clean as haven't done the velvet side in case I get custom crushed velvet... Haven't ever tried home dry cleaning things as in general I'm suspicious of dry cleaning fumes...prefer a good wash meself, especially if in the river with a good strong club in me hand... Caro I could take them to the local laundrette - they'd probably fit their big ones - but can you tumbledry velvet? Id be surprised.. but still v ignorant about fabrics and :-) willing to learn Caro (don't have a tumble dryer so rather ignorant, though with the onset of the wet weather am beginning to wonder whether I could fit one in the garage) Trish suggested > Would they fit in a tumbler drier with a Bounce type cloth? Febrese spray is quite good for getting rid of smells out of fabrics without cleaning. I'm not sure if you can wash velvet-probably a dry cleaning job. What about these things that 'dry clean' at home-anyone tried them? Kate.
