Guest guest
....it was long gone, picked up by a courier on a motorbike who delivers blood to hospitals. Eventually he answered it, and told me he was half way to the west end with it. He promised he'd do his best to drop it in later on today. Do you think he will? Is he phoning Australia? Speaking as an ex-courier (20 years ago!), and as former manager of a company who won the contract to supply back up couriers to collect and deliver blood I can vouch for the honesty and integrity of one who delivers blood. This is only for the seriously good courier with lots of experience, not your fly-by-night who thinks he'll earn a fortune by screeching off at every traffic light. Sometimes the blood won't be routine it will be so urgent (rare blood group for RTA/heart op/baby on the operating table) you have to liaise with and get police escorts clearing the way to the final destination. To become one selected for such a task needs to be of high integrity, and above all most reliable (blood needed for that 3pm op cannot be late!). I am sure when he is passing a little closer to your door, and isn't under any time pressure that he will drop it by, ........if indeed he is doing the job he says he is . ... try checking with your phone supplier to see if any calls have been made.
