Guest guest
Ruth, really sorry, was being discalculic at that point and misread the centiles as meaning that he was only 7% dispraxic ie not very badly affected. I wish someone would tell me what dyslexia centile DD is on! Caro Thanks for the website though; as DS is *always* falling over to the extent that people often ask whether he's been drinking, I may well give it a whirl. But it maybe that he gets it from DH whose mother used to wonder why when he came home from school without a new plaster ;-) and he's still more gifted in the cerebral dept than in the real physical world ;-) Caro > I had to think about that! When they say only 7% are worse than him, > I take that to mean that 93% of children are not as dyspraxic as he > is, making him quite severely dyspraxic

We were about to have it for DS, but the school recommended an Educational Psychologist who can do similar checks AND also check for ADD/ADH at the same time - the former would have cost £260, the latter costs £350 so not cheap, but worth it if it will pinpoint areas where DS needs help. ;-) and he's still more gifted in the cerebral dept than in the real > physical world ;-) Caro Yes - these children usually leave the rest of us standing!! > Ruth
