Caroline, that is a bong, and is used to smoke canabis resin...I know becasue

I used to do it at college years ago. To burn the resin and inhale it

through the water means you inhale more of the drug than you would in a

spliff, and the water cools the smoke so you can inhale it without pain. The

effects are better. Its propbaly not crack, and they are just experimenting.

We used to make bongs out of old water carriers and coke bottles, it was a

game to see who could build the best one...ok, you may disapprove, but at the

time I wasnt doing excstacy and acid like a lot of youngsters! And, I never

have!
