They certainly should be careful about comments like that even if they are meant

slightly tongue in cheek since you obviously took away a message from it.

OTOH in a situation where you *really* think you are being over-worried, you can

always try nhs-direct as a first stop:

Having said that, that much vomiting sounds perfectly worth while asking for

advice on to me

If you are worried take him.Speaking as an ex Gp (before I was a SAHM) its

always best to have young children checked over.They can get dehydrated easily

and there are lots of different causes of vomiting.Its perfectly reasonable for

you to take him-they won't think your being silly.
