Guest guest
Hi haven't posted for ages cos trying to juggle work and it went a bit mad. But just wanted to say how gorgeous Dahlia was and after reading Ruthie's 'dare I say it she looks just like her dad' comment wondered how many little girls started off looking just like their dad and then turned into peas in a pod with their mums. Calypso my 7 year old is a ringer for me now but boy did she look like her dad at the very beginning. Then I got to wondering if nature could be so clever as to do this intentionally so that a better bond could happen with dad? Mmmm this type of thing does happen I believe. Cunning ole nature. Thanks for continuing a great stream of chat which I continue to laugh and cry with. Incidentally whoever posted the furbyhack web page - it seriously tickled me I was crying whilst trying to post it to other friends. What people do on the web really makes me laugh - what a wonderful medium - what did we do before? That BT advert where that woman says does anybody else feel scared and alone (or whatever) and then all those women stood up reminds me of this site and I love it when the other woman says Hello and the whole arena says hello back! Thats how I see the web. Back to work! Barker mum to Caly 7 and Dan the Man

That's funny cos I always thought it harked back to the woolly mammouth/hunter gatherer era - babies were born looking like there fathers, so that the father would know which child was his and would then hunt/gather for that child and mother!
