My sister (the one with epilepsy, asthma etc) is allergic to kiwi

fruit. I never knew anyone else was until now!

Her reaction has become steadily worse and now she gets wheezy if in

the same room as one and if she uses a spoon which has touched one,

her lips all swell up. I wonder what it is in Kiwi fruit that makes

some people have that reaction.

Mari isn't allergic as such just can't tolerate it - i.e. it will affect her

stomach and bowels and she becomes very lethargic and 'sickly'.
