Well, I was the one that woke up at (BST) 5.49 this morning (dodgy tum +

that time of the month...) about an hour later after having listened to

Tim

chatting away for ages we thought we'd better respond to his plea for a

clean nappy now (fortunately no mess...). He went back to his cot with

loads of toys about 7.15 (BST) and we managed to doze till ten to 9!

(still

BST, but I reckon 8ish is a pretty civilised time for a 2 yr old!)

So it hasn't been too bad a clock change for us.

BTW Tim has been refusing to sleep in the afternoon all week (although he

closed his eyes over lunch on Thursday he woke up when I lifted him out of

his high chair and demanded more food, and by the time we'd dealt with the

resultant nappy he was wide awake again and when I put him down for his nap

he wasn't having any of it and after 45 minutes I gave in and got him up

again).

Yesterday he fell asleep in his moussaka. When I got him out of the high

chair he whimpered and I though " oh no not AGAIN " - but he started to cry

" Sleep time, sleep time " ! When I put him in his cot he asked for his big

bear, then insisted on getting right under the sheets, turned over and

closed his eyes - and the next sound was heard 3 HOURS LATER!!!! Only 21/2

hrs today but still good going...

Maybe he now only needs one sleep a week....

Anneliese and Toddler Tim the 25 month old.

btw fabulous birthday prezzies included a 3 pack of " moonlighting "

videos!!!

(nostalgia trip anyone?)

Does anyone else ...
