" how many little girls started off looking just like their dad and

then turned into peas in a pod with their mums. Calypso my 7 year old

is a ringer for me now but boy

did she look like her dad at the very beginning. Then I got to

wondering if nature could be so clever as to do this intentionally so

that a better bond could happen with dad? Mmmm this type of thing

does happen I believe.

Cunning ole nature. "

There was some research a little while ago that said babies (of

whichever sex) were born looking like their fathers so that their

fathers knew that they were " theirs " and so bonded with them. DD1

was certainly very like her dad ... we had a scan at 37 weeks and fell

about laughing as she had the " Braham " ears!

DS1 looked like ET - and he's not his dad....

No honestly DS1 is very much a Pearce (blonde, pointy chin, tall

and thin) but DS2 is me me me! Maybe it was so I realised he

belonged to me?
