Talking of this, did anyone else see that Fred Trueman's

grand-daughter gave birth to a 11lbs 10oz daughter naturally, without

pain relief - OUCH!

Francesca (8lbs 15oz was bad enough!)

Ah but size isn't everything ;) 10lb 8oz was easier than 9lb 8oz which was

easier than 6lb!! And no tears or grazes from birthing #2 and #3 :)

Jenni

That's good to hear Jenni :0) - maybe it was just the fact that my

biggest baby thus far was the first and not the fact that she was 8lbs

15oz. I certainly hope so as I reckon DD2 (7lbs 15) was a blip and

no. 3 will be a 9/10lb-er.

Off for my 20 week scan tomorrow and fight with the consultant over a

water birth - think of me at 11.20!

Unfortunately, you may well have to fight for a water birth and if this is

the case then let me know - but *you don't have to see a consultant at all.*

What is a consultant going to know about water birth anyway?
