Know just what you mean. We have a very nice Mediterranean/ north African

type climate here (28 degrees today and we're still in spring) - but when I

heard about the snow over Xmas I felt very homesick :-)

Watched Peak Practice yesterday on pay TV and went all gooey over the

blackened stone houses, and the rain and drizzle (I'm a Yorkshire lass) -

when outside it was a lovely mid-20's and wall-to-wall sunshine. There's

never pleasing some is there?

Sorry to tell you Debbie that it is lovely Sunshine in Yorkshire today,

little bit cool in the breeze but a lovely day.

Think that's bad Debbie? I technically ceased to be a resident

Yorkshire lass at the age of 30 days ( " born in squalor deprivation

and Barnsley " as a comedy line once put it) but my heart has always

swelled at the sight of spoil heaps because it meant I was " coming

home " ('course, they are all grassed over now)
