Guest guest
Hello again everyone Just back from a great break at a family hotel in Devon - rumoured to be closing after Easter which is a real tragedy for parents and children alike; DS adored it and was very sad to leave (on his first foray into the playroom bounced up to him and asked if he wanted to be friends awww!) and they spent a lot of time there together thereafter; they have supervised playroom 15 mins after beginning of supper so parents can enjoy the rest of the rather good food in peace; or separate suppers; they have evening entertainments; it was lovely... It left me a-wondering where all the other ones are in England - family hotels, I mean? Someone mentioned one in Lytham St Annes (Ives hotel??) I mean also, apart from the rather exorbitantly expensive ones near Bath and Weymouth. Some semblance of normality is returning to the household as the last 13-yr old guest of half term has departed (just!) and I am contemplating piles of washing and emails... Guest guest
We have been to Bedruthan Steps Hotel near Newquay five times, and plan to go more in the future. It's an excellent place for both adults and children. http://www.bedruthanstepshotel.co.uk Joyce Family hotels? It left me a-wondering where all the other ones are in England - family hotels, I mean? Guest guest
Isn't this the place that also does self-catering cottages where you can use all the hotel facilities? Haven't done it myself, but an NCT friend has, if I'm thinking of the right place.
