Guest guest
Do any of you belong to any other friendly chat groups? Just thinking about joining a 'make friends' (doesn't that sound sad!) group and wondered what your experiences have been? Kirsten

I live about a 30 min drive away, and am also sad person with only a handful of mates nearby, the rest having wild exciting lives living across the country/world! (ps. I am not jealous...well maybe just a bit!). Would love to move somewhere more charming, but have three horses which sort of ties me to staying put...plus DH is self employed, and would have to start up business all over again if we moved! Anyway...(going off on one again...)

I wouldn't mind finding such a group either...!! I love you lot, but virtually none of you are in London... and since I've moved so many times and lived in different countries I tend to have friends all over the place, but not an awful lot within driving distance... (it's starting to improve now when I am spending more time at home, but still). Karina-no-friends :-))

Maybe I'm too old and too Jewish to be of interest! Ruthie

I know you are in London, but you always sound so incredibly busy with you extended family, weddings, teaching, writing, and shopping trips to New York...! In this household it all tends to focus around toddler tantrums, weetabix smeared into floor, sibling rivalry, and the like! If I have a shower before midday it feels like a triumph!! Are we enough 'coffee' members in London to do a real-life coffee bash do you think? Karina

Guest guest
I'd love to do a London coffee BUT just as you (Karina) are planning to be at home more, I am playing at being a full-time student until the summer, and DD is at nursery all week! Busy, busy, busy! > Are we enough 'coffee' members in London to do a real-life coffee > bash do you think? > > Karina >
