Guest guest
I rather liked a cop-out I saw on an American calendar today, calling 31st Oct Pumpkin Day... and Phyllis wrote: > Seriously??? LOL! > well, it was a quilting calendar, does this make more sense?! but Phyllis *also* wrote in another email " There is a good bulletin board at parentsplace.com (once on their main page, go to 'Boards' and then look for 'Trying to Conceive') that I used until recently. " and I am suspicious.... Let's face it gals, we have very sensitive antennae to this sort of slip.... love Caro

My excuse was that he was my birthday present from DH! I was the year after you and also in the heat - he spent the first few weeks in a vest and nappy covered with a sheet. Mind you given the chance he would still be out in T-shirt and shorts - I have persuaded him that tracksuit bottoms and T-shirt is OK. We will build up to coats by the time it is snowing. Well spotted Caro! You win the prize! It wasn’t actually a slip, I figured I would stick in little hints until someone got it. No rush, I just found out about a week ago and am due in early July (3rd or 6th depending on who’s calculating). So far so good and I barely feel pregnant. Also having some fuss with the hospital, as they try not to give you any information, and yet I want to be sure to be in the one-to-one midwife scheme. Ah well. No rush, I just found > out about a week ago and am due in early July Well done! hope it continues going well for you. i have a July baby - it's an nice time of year to have a baby - although a little bit hot in the last few weeks (but at least you don't have to wear tights!) I had opposite season babies too - nothing was the right size at the right time, of the baby clothes i had saved from DS1...gave me an excuse to go shopping though! I had the nappy inserts collected/delivered each week freshly laundered - bliss! He doesn't like being dressed properly even now! Ahh, memories.... It's MY birthday 2 days before DH comes home this time....LOL!! I wonder.... Ruth > > >
Guest guest
Congratulations!! Kitty was a late July baby and I can't say I was overly bothered by the heat.
