I lived in Walmsley Road (just off Cardigan Road), and used to bump into Mark

Almond in the Coop on Cardigan Road. Andy Kershaw was head of ents at the

Student Union at the time.

Since moving to Perth, I have got to know a lady (who is also an NCT a/n

teacher) and it transpires that we were at uni together (a year apart) - she

read biophysics, I read Physics. We were talking about the murder of Jackie

Hill (the Ripper's last victim), and where were that night. I mentioned that

I had walked past the spot where she was found about 1/2 an hour after her

murder, and it transpired that she was at a bus stop on the same bit of road

at the same time - so our paths had crossed at that time. A small world

isn't it?
