Guest guest
I have found the same re making major decisions since having kids and usually leave them to DH. However recently have found am using internet to research things and shop when he is at work. I recently surprised him by buying a car without him, something I have never done before. He got to drive it before I signed the papers but I did all the research etc on my own.It felt really good. I think I had just got out of the habit of making the big decisions and he always seems so good at it,that I just let him take over. I find it a bit easier to be honest (perhaps because there are two of us now and money isn't so desperately tight - I always found financial difficulties brain paralysing) - but DH does have that problem! -- jennifer@... And I happy to see it's not just me! I can't even decide which takeout to choose when we have one! Pizza, KFC, Chinese ..... the choice is endless. Guest guest
Me too! And what really ticks me off is when I say to DH " What do you want for tea tonight? " and he says " I don't mind. What do you want? " Well, I don't bloody know, do I? If I could make decisions like that, I wouldn't have asked the question!! And I make all the complex decisions of the day: what will the kids wear, where will we go in the moring, what will they eat for lunch, has DD2 done a poo - by the time he comes home, I'm all decided out: it doesn't seem too much to ask that he does that one, does it?!! We even have a reasonable choice of take aways in Pocklington, Indian, Chinese X 2 or kebab shop (that has to be my favourite). Guest guest
>How are you doing ? >Lynda Hanging on in there, just about thanks. Not being able to drive is the biggest problem, I've been calling in favours from all and sundry everybody is being really kind) to get DS1 and 2 to school, DS3 is just skipping nursery. Thanks to Tesco's starvation has been avoided and have developed very unorthodox method of feeding horses that doesn't involve plodging through the mud. Spending too much time awake at night chewing things over so I really need to move on mentally, but I think that will be easier when I feel fitter physically. Guest guest
We used to have the ‘what’s for dinner’ discussion/argument every evening, but while trying to lose some weight, I was eating a little at the same time as Calvin and then wasn’t really hungry when it was time to think about our dinner. Now I’m a bit hungrier, but way too tired. So poor DH eats a lot of peanut butter sandwiches.
