Guest guest
Hate to tell you this Ruthie, but I've heard plenty of Eastern European Jewish accents amongst your generation (well, probably 10 -15 years older, thinking about it) - which is compatible with being a bride's mother 10 years ago! BTW The combination of baguette shoulders and big claw setting for main stone sounds a little ill-matched to me - I wouldn't put a brilliant in a proud claw next to those shoulders, I'd probably go for a central stone that was princess or sideways-on emerald cut. Anneliese who could happily have lived in Garrard's in the old days... Guest guest
> Am I the only one who doesn't understand a word of this :-)) Well you weren't half an hour ago, but I have been sitting here educating myself. Looked up " baguette+shoulders " in Google, and am now fully conversant with the terms! FWIW I would not refuse a > combination of baguette shoulders and big claw setting for main stone if anybody were to be offering!! Guest guest
No , you're not the only one, I don't have a clue what Anneliese is on about but my engagement ring came out of a Xmas cracker (we were 19 and 21 and v. poor at the time!). It fell apart four years ago so I now wear my great-aunt's - a far grander affair but still no idea whether it has any baguettes!! ;0) Hope you're feeling much better, ! Francesca (Peasant!)
