Speaking as one who had to soldier on a whole two months longer in the heat

than you two, I can state categorically that it was b****y hot that

summer!!! But I suppose most of my exposure to the heat was actually at

work, down the road from Angi, rather than at home, down the road from

- does that explain it? My office looks out at Portsmouth Harbour

from the top of the cliffs so I spent all summer in blazing sun (except when

I was in Bristol, where they were delighted to have me in their meetings so

they could snaffle the extra-powerful fan for me!) It was very hot at the

Grand Prix, and also in the Albert Hall, that summer - and on our holiday in

May. I don't remember anything except sunshine from May to October in 1999!

BTW I hate hot weather but also really really feel the cold (I'm frozen

today, eg!)

No - think its more to do with the fact that I really hate cold weather and

have to be sitting on top of a heater to feel really warm.
