Guest guest
Whenever Lou picks up the little kids, he says to them, " Kiss Mama Good-bye. " I rather like it. Three years ago, Lou was not allowed contact with me. No one told Putter to kiss anyone good-bye because Putter didn't understand most of what was said to him. I kissed him myself when I wanted to. And Putter seldom kissed anyone. Two years ago, when Lou told Putter to " Kiss Mama Good-bye, " I just kissed Putter myself. One year ago, when Lou told Putter to " Kiss Mama Good-bye, " Putter would kiss Lou. He only understood the word " kiss " so he kissed whoever said that to him. I was thrilled that he knew the word " kiss " and that he was willing to kiss someone. About six months ago, when Lou told Putter to " Kiss Mama Good-bye, " Putter started to kiss me good-bye. His receptive language was improving. I was delighted. Last Wednesday, when Lou came to pick up Putter and Robbie, he stayed a minute in the kitchen to talk to . Sophie and Robbie and Putter headed out the door to his car. As Putter was on the point of leaving, he suddenly caught my eye, held contact, laughed and came over and kissed me. No prompt. None needed any more. Salli

Now I remember a few years back Sissi suggested I go and give Enrique a hug and with an amused smirk on my face I did just that. I hugged Enrique's stiff and unresponding body; he tried not to pull away but he just could not help it. I always said he needed strangling, but he is so tactilely defensive that no one can get near his neck, LOL. Salli
