Guest guest
Putter decided that the largest bookcase in Enrique and 's room was a suitable place for a Playmobil display. So he set up taxis and helicopters and people. The helicopter he placed on the very top of the bookcase which is over six feet high. He did this by climbing on the large stair stepper that sits directly in front of the bookcase. This piece of exercise equipment is used almost exclusively by fit and healthy Sophie, Robbie and Putter. The rest of us wisely ignore it. Soon after Putter arranged his display, I heard grunting and huffing from the room. I went in and Putter was TRYING TO MOVE THE BOOKCASE! Yikes. He was doing it by pulling on the shelves from the front. I yelled at him to stop and asked what he was doing (although later I realized that the stairstepper would have stopped the bookcase from falling over). He cried and cried " Where blade? " and finally I understood that one of his helicopter's rotors had fallen behind the bookcase. Great. So I removed the contents of the first four shelves, telling Putter he was never to try to move the bookcase. I pushed the bookcase back and easily found the rotor. The same thing happened the next day with the pilot of the helicopter's headphone. As I furiously flung books on the floor for the second time in twenty four hours, I shouted at Putter that he was to take the helicopter down, and he shouted back, " UP! " Then I went and put duct tape over the crack between wall and bookcase. And Putter, quite on his own and NOT because I told him to, found a new spot for his display.
