Guest guest
Thank you Penny for the thought. But alas, DH had to work today so .... it's a day like any other day for me. Lots of kids, lots of autism, lots of diapers, lots of kids' TV, lots of fixing sippy cups, lots of autistic boys climbing over me as their proprieceptive equipment, lots of NT girls demanding I draw/pretend/play/etc right this MINUTE, lots of a MIL trying to convince me bring both kids to a Mother's Day luncheon at her church (not mine - too much socialization with unknown people required). <sighs> I've had 4 Mother's Days since becoming pregnant with these two ... I haven't really liked any of them. No wonder I'm depressed today. Debbie with twins, who feels guilty for wishing her " Mother's Day " meant she didn't have to be a mother at all for just one day. - Jordan (ASD) 2.5yo - (NT) 2.5yo

On Judge Mathis once, a woman was testifying that on the day of the incident, Mother's Day, she was out with friends and her dh was home with the kids. He REFUSED to believe her, saying that all mothers are with their CHILDREN on Mother's Day, that's what the day is all about... Fool. Guest guest
You know what?! You need to talk DH in to putting a day aside just for you...That would be YOUR mother's day. Surely he can pull ONE day out of 365? Penny RE: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Thank you Penny for the thought.
