Guest guest
First it was the jewellry I didn't understand...Now this > in >honour of my rather more matronly stature these days, I wore a pvc mini skirt >over my black underwear. Very useful to have slightly more clothing for >smuggling props into the theatre under! I am begining to think that something(s) in life have passed me by... is this what everyone else was doing whilst I was the only girl in a class of 52 at uni learning about the second law of thermodynamics (that's the one that says that disorder always increases) and other useful stuff? As my 14 and 12 yr old keep telling me that I am past it and don't understand, I am begining to wonder if they are right. Why would a 14yr old boy want to be described as 'cute' by anyone???? Guest guest
> First it was the jewellry I didn't understand...Now this Sorry Liz ;-) Put it down to a very misspent uni career. I made up for it though by becoming a chartered accountant. Umm.. Well, I know there *is* a 2nd law of thermodynamics, but couldn’t have said what it was. I majored in French, so am very impressed. It’s not so cool for impressing most 14 year olds, no. I had some friends at uni who went to see Rocky Horror several times per term. One chap was nicknamed ‘Rocky’ because he had seen it over a 100 times. I never saw the point and never went. >As my 14 and 12 yr old keep telling me that I am past it >and don't >understand, I am begining to wonder if they are right. LOL! While at university, and especially afterwards, I began to face up to the fact that I was never ‘with it’ and so technically have always been ‘past it’. >Yours, feeling elderly of Edinburgh, >Liz Goudie Yours, always been elderly of London, Phyllis __________________________________________________
