Guest guest
We have a window cleaner to do the outsides - sometimes I wonder why I pay him when the dirt is all on the insides!. DK's had their rooms painted this summer so I cleaned the windows before putting the curtains back up. We have been here for 15yrs and that was only the 2nd wash for all 3 pairs of curtains. Windows around 5 yrs maybe, all that laders (long sash windows) and soapy water and chamois stuff is too much hassle ( I am hopeless with the windowlene type of stuff). Before the painter came we had a major clear out of the DK's rooms, boxes and boxes of stuff for charity shops and jumble sales as well as for the bin. Their rooms seem just as messy now even with all that stuff removed! Doing toooo much NCT to manage tidying at the moment, will attempt a serious tidy up before Christmas. (oh look pink squeaky things flying by!) The heaps of paper are starting to breed all over the house and there is a serious outbreak on the floor round my desk because all the piles on the desk are in danger of falling over. Not being able to find a particular piece of paper has caused two crises in the last week, which almost got the tidy up started, but a second search through the most likely pile found one and the other was behind the bench in the hall - abandoned on it by one child and pushed off by another one dumping a school bag. At least emails don't fall over and hurt your toes when there are too many! Haven't done any Christmas shopping yet, though have started to think about what to give people!
