Guest guest
Beverley wrote Now I feel the odd one out! I am a tidy-up-aholic! You are not alone Beverley.I too like to have my toys organised into boxes when not in use and get annoyed if DH tidies up and Jumbles them all up so no-one can find anything-I know I should just be grateful he tidies up!! When I first gave up work I actually enjoyed housework-weird I know, but the novelty has worn off recently ,and I have to admit I feel stressed if I don't hoover kitchen floor every day,and I am starting to fantasise about having a cleaner again (gave up cleaner shortly after giving up working outside the home) My closest female friend is a 'cleanerholic' and I used to find it really stressful if she came to the house and it was untidy, so consequently I spent hours tidying before hand, and once got up at 3am to mop kitchen floor.Recently I have become more laid back and realised it is me she comes to see ,and that we are all different.Another friend gave her a keyring that read' tidying your house when your children are small is like sweeping snow off your drive in a blizzard' or words to that effect. Ah well time to get off computer and go and hoover bedrooms! I din't say I was completely cured!!! Kate Feeling better already.

Guest guest
Fridge magnet, Lynda...what a brill idea - my mother has offered to get us a new house-namethingy (but then we'd have to get a new gate and fence to put it on and we like it as it is) - I'll get her to make a little sign on the edge of the front door with that saying on it!!!! thanks....
