DId anyone else hear bloody Dr Steele on 'This Morning' saying that PG women

shouldn't put on more than 30lbs in total and should aim to lose the weight

by 6-8wks post partum ?????????? I hate him, I hate him, I hate him ... for

starters I have no idea how much I put on this PG but sure was more than

30lbs and considering that around 21lbs was fluid he can stuff that one

*and* how can you lose all the weight by 8wks when you retain some when BF

anyhow, oops forgot he must have been assuming we're no longer BF by then

.... and to top it all he called Black people 'coloured' - ack ack ack

Jenni (getting off soap box now)!!

note for diary: don't watch morning crap-a-vision!

Old Shelia K book I got when 1st pregnant suggests the opposite - that

you should expect to gain at least 30lb and not expect to begin to lose

it until at least 6-8 week PN.

Can we set her on him? I don't think he'll come out alive. After all -

he is the man who told a PND women on a 'phone in that she should stop

bf and take the meds *after* the woman had said that she didn't want to

take meds as bf was the one thing that she enjoyed and knew she was

doing ok with (and she had also stated that she wanted some suggestions

for alt. meds that she could take and bf).

/rant off
