I was going to suggest this too - but would also add that co-sleeping might initially take some adjusting to, if you're not used it - so if you've tried it for a night or two and got less sleep it might be worth persevering and trying again. It took me two children to get used to it - now I can't sleep if I don't have a child with me LOL! Actually you may find this easier to deal with once you are at home. I rarely get more than 6-7 hours sleep, and even more rarely is it unbroken (although they aren't usually up for three hours at a time, I have to admit), but if I'm particularly shattered, I can at least lie on the sofa and rest at some point during the day - usually when dd2 is asleep, in which case I put a video on for dd1 and tell her I'm having a rest!
