One of my greatest pleasures of an evening is to transform a tangled heap of laundry into a series of knife edge creases.>> ------------------------------------- Okay, I have to admit that although I love ironing I never get that much done. Ideally, like Lynda, I would iron everything (except socks, undies and towels). But as my ironing pile has grown to huge proportions (how can a family of three produce so much laundry?) I have cheated and am only ironing the essentials and just neatly folding the rest. The answer to easier ironing or not ironing is, as my grandmother taught me, to hang your laundry well. So when I hang the laundry out to dry I really straighten and stretch as much as possible and that way most non-essential ironing items are reasonable looking enough to just fold up and put away. Finding time to iron is not a problem for me because I don't do much else around the house!! :-) Usually I do it either morning or afternoon whilst DD is playing on her own. She's usually good at leaving me to get on with a reasonable pile of ironing before she gets bored and starts toddling around my legs! Lynda - is it you who had the T-towels washed and ironed on strict rotation? I seem to remember someone making a comment some time back.
