Socks and Shoes!

Lou took out to join a medieval group called the Blue Dragons so that

he can learn swordplay which he seems to have a natural talent for (he has

always loved the middle ages). He brought him back and Robbie and Putter were

clamoring to go on an outing too. But Lou and wanted to tell me about

the Blue Dragons.

Putter got his shoes and began shouting, " Socks and shoes! Socks and shoes! " No

one paid him any attention, well, I noticed, but I also had to listen. " In a

minute, " I told him. His socks were in the basement so it was a bit of a

bother.

Lou said he would take the little ones out to Mc's play area. " Socks and

shoes, " said Putter, then, because he actually was holding his shoes, " Socks,

socks, socks. "

Lou and talked a bit more about what would need to join this

group.

Putter left the room. He returned with his First Thousand Words and carefully

opened it to the page with socks and shoes on it.

He has too little Theory of Mind to actually try to draw our attention to what

he was doing; fit was clear to him, we dim NT (well, kind of NT in Lou's case)

humans, did not understand spoken words (and Putter can possibly sympathize here

more than in most areas as spoken words are HARD to understand); possibly we

would understand pictures as they are easier, or maybe the actual printed word?

At any rate, Little Putter sat there with his book open and waited for someone

to understand.

I took pity on him and went downstairs and got his socks.

What does Putter think of sticker books? I was just looking at the sticker

version of First 1000 Words and I think there is actually more in there than

the normal book. I have had this book sitting here for a year and have

never sold a copy of it. I would be more than willing to send it to Putter.

Georga:

I don't know; he does like stickers, and I have a couple of Usborne sticker

books that I was planning to introduce him to, but they are on Dull To

Putter Subjects like flowers. However, THAT book, the First Thousand Words,

well, it would have quite a good chance with him, I should think. I'd love

to have it!

Thanks!

I shall send it to you. I hope that Putter likes it.

I need your address (is it in the database?)

I have to ask, how does Putter feel about the hidden duck?

It is. He probably was muttering under his breath about needing a PECS

system for witless NT's.
